CURRICULUM WRITING BOARD

Curriculum Writing Board is underway for one week on two critical training programmes - Introduction to Maritime Security and Blue Economy Course and Integrated Maritime Security Course.
These efforts, supported by the Government of Japan through UNDP, aim to strengthen the capacity of maritime professionals and institutions across the region.
CWB 2
The curriculum review focuses on refining the courses' objectives, scope, and learning outcomes, ensuring they respond to current maritime challenges. The review also includes the development of detailed module content and a comprehensive course syllabus aligned with international standards.
A key priority is the integration of the Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) agenda into the course content, promoting gender-inclusive approaches in maritime governance and security operations.

These courses are designed to empower stakeholders with practical knowledge and skills to safeguard maritime spaces and harness the potential of the Blue Economy—contributing to peace, security, and sustainable development.
