SOUTH SUDAN PEACE AND RECONCILIATION COMMISSION DELEGATION VISIT TO IPSTC

On Wednesday, 12 October 2022, we hosted a delegation from the South Sudan Peace and Reconciliation Commission (SSPRC) led by the Chairperson, Hon Chuol Rambang Louth.
The visit aimed to explore avenues for strengthening conflict early warning, early response, peacebuilding, and reconciliation in South Sudan.
The key takeaways were the need for conducting post-conflict recovery training in areas of early warning and early response mechanisms, community peacebuilding, mental health, and psychosocial support.
The delegation visited both the Peace and Conflict Studies School in Karen and Humanitarian Peace Support School in Embakasi.
