STRATHMORE STUDENTS VISIT TO IPSTC

The 20 students were received by Col I Guleid, Acting Director IPSTC who briefed them on the institution's mandate and training exercises on DDR, and the program coordinator Maj A Lusiola who acquainted them with the program lineup for the day.

The interactive session touched on the role of DDR in peacekeeping operations, different approaches to DDR, and case studies to analyze relevant theoretical concepts. During the session, the students interacted with senior officers who have been on missions hence getting information from first-hand experience.

The day culminated with a brief tour of the institution and its facilities.
