The course is sponsored by UK BPST commenced at HPSS on 19 November 2018 and is scheduled to end on 14 December 2018. The course consists of 16 participants who are drawn from Members of the Kenya Defence Forces.

The Course is intended to train personnel to collect, collate, asses and disseminate information on enemy capabilities relating directly to their use of weapons, caches, finds etc. It specifically includes the investigation of IEDs, IED explosions and subsequent collection of intelligence and information, ultimately leading to the provision of information used to defeat the IED network.
