STRATEGIC MEETING WITH THE REGIONAL CENTRE FOR MAPPING OF RESOURCES FOR DEVELOPMENT

On 12 June 2025, we held a productive meeting with representatives from the Regional Centre for Mapping of Resources for Development (RCMRD). The discussion provided an opportunity to brief them on the Centre’s core activities, with a particular focus on the work of our postgraduate school.

The meeting also explored potential areas of collaboration, with a strong emphasis on the application of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in research, training, and development initiatives. Both parties expressed a shared interest in leveraging geospatial technologies to support evidence-based decision-making and capacity-building efforts in the region.
