PHYSICAL SECURITY AND STOCKPILE MANAGEMENT COURSE IS HOSTED AT IPSTC
The Humanitarian Peace Support School is hosting participants from 11 African Countries taking part in the Physical Security & Stockpile Management course (PSSM).
Given that the theft of national stockpiles has been a huge contributor to increased armed conflicts, crime and terrorism, its effective management is of utmost importance. The week-long course will provide the participants with the requisite knowledge to mitigate such complex emergencies.
The Executive Secretary of the Regional Centre on Small Arms (RECSA), Lt Gen Badreldin Elamin Abdegadir, officially opened the course.
IPSTC in partnership with RECSA, Bonn International Centre for Conflict Studies (BICC), the Multinational on Small Arms Group (MSAG), and the Austrian Government, is a testament to the global tread towards global peace and security.
