In a spirited effort to continue creating more avenues for women peacekeepers to contribute meaningfully toward peace and security, deliberative discussions were held.
In her remarks, Maj Gen Fatuma Ahmed highlighted the importance of synergy and commitment of different stakeholders towards enhancing female participation in defence forces.
Shared during the meeting were best practices utilized by the Kenyan and Australian Defence Forces, on how to build the capacity of women in peace support operations
enhancing inclusion and meaningful participation of women in defence forces.
