At the Humanitarian Peace Support School, we are currently conducting a Hostile Environment Awareness training tailored for the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) customs and border control managers. The training will equip them with skills to assess risks, manage potential threats, and handle emergency situations effectively in hostile environments.

The Commissioner of the Customs and Border Control Department Dr. Lilian Nyawanda, emphasized the significance of this training, stating, "As we operate in increasingly complex and challenging environments, the skills and knowledge you will acquire during this training are crucial. They will not only enhance your ability to respond to adversities but also ensure that you can do so while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity."Also in attendance at the opening ceremony was Commandant HPSS, Colonel Rongoei.
