INCIDENT COMMAND MANAGEMENT COURSE

Incident Command System (ICS) Course commenced on 22nd February 2021 at the Humanitarian Peace Support School (HPSS). The opening ceremony was graced by Commandant HPSS - Col H C Maghanga ‘psc’ (K).

In attendance were SO2 Coord, Lead Facilitator-Mr Erick Swale amongst other Facilitators. The participants comprised Disaster Risk Managers and responders drawn from the Military, Police and Civilian components at both National and County Governments. The course is sponsored by UNDP-Japan and aims at building capacity in Disaster Management by improving coordination during emergencies.
